An acute respiratory disease, known as the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), was indented in the late 2019. As launched by World Health Organization, it is now a pandemic problem. So far there is no any vaccine or drug for treatment to this disease. The world including Ethiopia has been relying on practicing different preventive measures. As of 17-Apr-2020, the Ethiopian health minister reported 117,542 confirmed cases and 1,813 deaths of COVID-19 from the total of 1,714,966 laboratory tests conducted. The mainstay of approach to avoid COVID-19 is applying preventive measures. Therefore, the current survey aimed to assess the current meat hygiene practice in butchers and associated risk factors for covid -19 Transmissions among Consumers in selected sub city, Addis Ababa, 2020.Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the current meat hygiene practice in butchers and associated risk factors for covid -19 Transmissions among Consumers in selected sub city Addis Ababa from December, 2020 - June 2021.
