Synopsis "Palenque, its people, its faces, its culture"
"A picture is worth a thousand words" Photography is an art with therapeutic value. It evokes emotional states. Portraits have the ability to bring immediate memories, affections, facilitate socialization, creativity and expression. Portraits are the record of life experience. This book proposes training for photographers with the skills to use this craft as a factor of psychosocial transformation within educational, welfare or community centers, taking as a reference a portfolio of black and white portraits taken in the Community of Palenque Colombia.
