Synopsis "Performing the Old Switcheroo"

Carol Anne and Wendy Anne Smith are identical twin sisters who have a lot of things in common besides their looks, which includes their sky-high intelligence quotients and their love for this kiddie game show called "Little Brainiacs"; a sort of kids version of the famous "Jeopardy!" game show. Their two older brothers; William and Andrew decide to enter the girls into this contest to try to get on the show, but only Carol Anne makes it. Soon, Carol Anne proves her worth by winning show after show, but after reeling off four straight wins, Carol Anne gets sick, which includes a high fever and vomiting. Her mother, Charlotte, insists that she stays home, but her brothers and father; fearing that she won't win the grand prize hatch a scheme to have Wendy Anne take her place on the day of her final appearance on the show, but they end up leaving Charlotte and Carol Anne in the lurch until Charlotte finds out when she and Carol Anne tune in to watch the show that day.
