But when Eve interviews Jessie Fallon, a nineteen year-old thief, and makes an unfavorable recommendation to the court, she gets more than she bargained for. The highly disturbed Jessie becomes enraged and plots a payback for Eve that involves a sadistic and sexually twisted role in his upcoming amateur film. Can Eve overcome her paralyzing fear and depression to reclaim her job and her life? Not if Jessie has his way. He has other plans for her. And those plans involve something that defies imagination and will push Eve to the edge of what any human being can endure, culminating in a heart-pounding, bone chilling fight for survival and the triumph of the human spirit.
