Synopsis "Plundered Angels"

In his search for Megan Brooks, the fourteen year-old adopted daughter of Andy, a suicide, wheelchair bound Navy buddy, Logan Sand, northwest PI stomps through the sewer of underage prostitution from street corners to whore houses to truck stop lot lizards. He must deal with his own inner beast and demons as he searches for Megan and her cousin, Haley Jacobs age sixteen, and meets resistance from pimps and the girls who love them, girls drawn by a cult that uses religious faith to recruit the innocent. Wading through drugs and killers, Logan learns Megan may be his own biological daughter. Nun Sister Maria provides a way back for the plundered angels with her work farms, but she cautions nobody can rescue all the girls, or even a few, lucky to save one. Logan intends to find Megan. He will save her. Sister Maria detects in Logan a personal anguish but will not believe he is-as he says-a man without a soul.
