ABOUT THE AUTHOR Originally form Pittsfield Massachusetts Richard and his family moved to Southwick in 1985. In 1991 they moved from an apartment complex to a house on the shores of Congomond Lake. After graduating from Southwick high school he continued his love of reading and writing and after meeting his wife he began a love of music and lyrics. These are the first of what will be many books published by Richard. He has been writing for many years he has always had a love of words written or spoken. He attributes his skill with words and openness to sharing his thoughts and feelings to his family who have always been both supportive and loving. His father Richard Ouellette Sr., who always taught him that to be a man does not mean that you need to hide your emotions. His mother Charron Ouellette, who was always there to help him edit and spell correct as well as tell him that he could do anything if he just set his mind to it and had faith. His sister Kirsten Ouellette who reminds him to always have fun and laugh. His wife kellyann Chester-Ouellette who has been supportive of his writing and fell in love with his soul through his words some of which are contained in his book of poems. With the help of his wife Kellyann he is learning more about music and is hoping to one day write a musical about their meeting and marriage. His inspiration comes from many different writers from the classics of Shakespeare and Homer to the contemporary styles of Stephen King and George R. R. Martin.
