Synopsis "Poetry For Teen Times"
Between the pages of this book are fifty poems that were written from my own experiences as a young child and intomy teenage years. The suffering I experienced when my dad was killed by a drunk driver, being bullied though out my years in school and the bad decisions I made through my teen years. If you have chosen the wrong crowd or just need to know that someone has been through what you may be experiencing, I hope that my poetry will guide you through to victory. If you are having problems at home or school I believe that this book will uplift you, strengthen your spirit and teach you how to achieve success in all ways. There is power in your words and thoughts, I offer advice on what you can do to make ourworld a better place, help you identify emotions and understand what that "gut feeling" is all about. You are unique, one of a kind, created to full fill God's purpose for you in this life. Look for the helpers in this collection of words and rhymes and know that God's promises never changes. Throughout my adult life I have crossed paths with people I know God placed there, sometimes for a reason, sometimes for a season, but I will never forget those who have supported me in this endeavor to get this book in your hands. God not only sends helpers but He sends people to encourage you along the way. My friends Author, Armand Rosamila, Author, Rachel Braxton and my family who never ceases to amaze me with their support including my granddaughter who drew a special picture for you I have included inside. I encourage you today to understand that these poems were meant for you and I hopeyou will share them with your friends, you never know when you will need encouragement or when you will be called to be the helper.
