Pomegranate is the story of Guy, a writer living in Paris across from Montparnasse Cemetery in the 14th arrondissement. One day the writer wakes and sees a mysterious girl sitting on a bench outside his window. He believes she might be a forbidden fruit from his past and decides to play detective. The journey takes Guy on an adventure where he interacts with a unique cast of characters. Such as Yuri Odessa an amateur detective, Mme. Isadora Barreau who host a secret salon and old Pierre the caretaker to the cemetery. Excerpt: Guy was interrupted by his own reflection. Was this truly him? He moved his hand over his face the way a man does after he shaves. His hand moved slow, unsure of the terrain. It was as if his hands had never touched his cheek before or pinched his lips. His eyes were black pits and sunken in like damaged potatoes and his body thinner than he ever remembered. His hands patted down his hair and brought order to where distress roamed. The sight disappointed him, an ugliness had surfaced. - Is there no remedy? - Guy said. Pomegranate is a roman à clé which is French for novel with a key - a novel about real life, overlaid with a façade of fiction.
