Synopsis "Pot Pourri 2"
A collection of stories, happenings, one liners, poetry, and much more, gathered throughout my life's journey. I wish to share these with those that are struggling in their pilgrimage, discouraged and often think of dropping out. Looking back, through ups and down, good times and bad, mistakes and more mistakes all helping to change a vain, self-centered person into one that realizes that the true meaning of life is found in service to the whole of mankind. Now in retrospect I see that my life has been very rich and fulfilling. Mistakes and failures became teaching tools as I submitted all to God and out of seeming defeat I discovered victory. The pain of yesterday became the blessing of today. Knocking on the door of the 'Four score' the outward man in decline yet the Inward man rejuvenated daily. I have seen those whose time had come, "To swim the River', struggle and fight the Grim Reaper with their last breath. They had not conquered death in their lives! James Moffat English Theologian, who did a translation of the Bible; on his bed of transition was heard to say, NOW FOR THE GREAT SECRET. My desire with the Pot Pourri series, is, it will encourage us to find that our Great and Final Swim an exciting adventure; looking forward prepared for the ongoing chapters of our lives as we move into the next phase of our eternal journey. As we vacate the limitations of this broken down house; set free to gaze from a Pisgah's Mount of the Spirit to the unlimited challenge of the Universe. As the Word declares, "Our latter years much more fulfilling than our former."
