"My family gets together about a dozen times a year. We've always been pretty close knit and at these get-togethers we always have cookouts. This year I came up with the idea that we should all put the names of dishes in a hat and draw names...the dish we pulled from the hat would be the one we would bring to each outing...the only catch, it has to be prepared differently each time. I drew Potato Kugel; please tell me you can help." I must admit, Potato Kugel is something we have a couple times a year here on the homestead. Although I've never published a cookbook of recipes for this dish before, I have gathered recipes for this dish for the past several years. This being an unusual dish nowadays, it was somewhat difficult to find enough of them to put together a cookbook. There are several excellent recipes in this book, and many of them are very flavorful. If you enjoy a nice Potato Kugel dish, you're sure to find one among these pages.
