Estate Accounts list numerous names and related information under “To” and “By,” date of document, date ordered, date recorded, and signers. Estate Sales generally list the name(s) of purchaser(s), date ordered and date recorded. All entries list the page number(s) of the original source and the full name of the decedent. There are over 700 slave listings in this book. A full-name and place index, which includes the given names all slaves, adds to the value of this work.
