Synopsis "Prostitution as a job: The viewpoint of adolescent women"

This work was carried out to obtain knowledge of the way of life of female adolescence and prostitution in the Pacific of Mexico through qualitative methodology, and to obtain the degree of Doctorate in Public Health Sciences, with direction towards public policies and health care to vulnerable groups that develop in different areas of life. This study was sponsored by the Ministry of Health of Jalisco, by CONACYT for the postgraduate program registered in the National Postgraduate Program (PNPC). The author expresses her gratitude to the University of Guadalajara, especially to the thesis director for her guidance and support in the methodology, to the participants and informants for their interest and life collaboration and generosity towards me as a health professional and person.
