Synopsis "Pyramids - For Strong Men, Gymnasts, &c."

This vintage book contains pictorial instructions for performing various different styles of human pyramids. A human pyramid is an formation in acrobatics whereby two or more people support a tier of people above them, who in turn usually support other, higher tiers of people. People above the first tier often kneel or stand on the shoulders, backs or thighs of those below them. Usually, the number of people in each tier is one greater than the tier immediately above it, resulting in a triangular structure similar to a pyramid. This volume contains simple diagrams showing how the pyramids can be achieved, making it ideal for gymnasts and acrobats with an interest in human pyramids. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in a modern, high-quality edition complete with the original text and artwork.
