Synopsis "Red White and Blue Traitor"

Vietnam 1970. Second Lieutenant Vincent Tang is young, honest and hard working, and he is determined to honorably serve out his hitch in the US Air Force. But he's faced with a big problem. A B-52 bomber armed with forbidden nuclear weapons went missing on his watch as the officer-in-charge of a radar bunker outside Saigon. Tang is first accused by his superiors of manufacturing the event, and then they declare him an out-and-out traitor. Forced to disappear into the wilds of Southeast Asia, seven years pass and the war ends. Tang's sister convinces a professional searcher, Austin Mars, to take up the search for her brother and clear his name. Mars uncovers evidence that a cabal of war-mongering generals and politicians had planned to drop the nuclear bombs on Hanoi and win the war for America. Now, with the war ended, they intend to cover up those illegal and sinister plans and make sure Tang disappears forever.
