This collection includes two short plays: ROGER AND VANESSA and SCOTCH AND WATER. ROGER AND VANESSA: Fresh out of prison, Roger has a scheme to make his volatile relationship with Vanessa, a manicurist, profitable through a singing act. The only problem is "You can't sing," says Vanessa. This sets off a hilarious battle in which Roger and Vanessa air their grievances with each other, and it comes to light that Vanessa is pregnant. Is Roger the father? And is their love sufficient to conquer the challenges that confront them?
