Synopsis "Roman's Empire"
To successful financial mogul, Roman Kincaid, there was only one way, and that was his way. Growing up, his parents used him as a pawn to one-up each other, and it left him trusting and caring for no one. So, with a heart as hard as stone and a cold, steely glare that would freeze hell, Roman's empire, Kincaid Financials, was built to where it was second to none. But when his executive assistant of five years leaves him a telephone call in the middle of the night saying she's eloping with her long-time boyfriend, Roman was determined Kincaid Financials would continue business as usual. But he knew he needed help, and through a temp agency, he is sent bright and beautiful, India Huntington, to save the day. Single mother, India Huntington needed a job and she needed one now. The tuition for her special needs daughter was due, and she had a goal to move out of her parents' house and into her own, it she considered it a God-send when the temp agency assigned her to Kincaid Financials. But when she met Roman Kincaid, President and CEO of Kincaid Financials, she thought of her grandmother's old saying, "Be careful what you ask for." Because to her Roman Kincaid, was the meanest, most cold hearted, man she'd ever met. But she was determined to not let him intimidate her, and she was also determined to show him she could take anything he dished out. But she had to admit there was something attractive about his brooding personality, and she had a feeling if he would just relax and let himself feel, his cold heart would eventually melt. Roman found his new executive assistant to be mouthy, outspoken, blunt and too irritating for her own good, but as far as executive assistants were concerned, she was the best. He also had to admit she was beautiful, intriguing and alluring, and somehow, she brought out feelings in him he thought were long buried, and knew if he wasn't careful, she would steal his heart, something else he thought was long buried.
