This book will challenge you to understand the Gospel, what is expected of you and how you can become a full-fledged disciple who is relentless in your pursuit of creating more disciples. We have been apathetic for far too long and it is time for us to wake up and get to work. But first, as Jesus did with His disciples, we need to understand how our life as Christians should look so as not to paint the wrong picture of Jesus to the world. This book will challenge you to examine your faith, grow your faith and to become what God expects of us in Christ. Ephesians 2:10 says, "We are God's workmanship in Christ to do works which He prepared beforehand for us to do." That means we don't have a say and when we profess the Lordship of Christ in our lives, there comes an expectation of the things we do, how we act and who we now belong to. Let us not continue living the life we lived before Christ, but let us take on the new life in Christ and take the message of hope to the world.About the Author: Samuel was born and raised in Birmingham, AL where he currently resides with his family. He came from a pretty tough upbringing that brought many challenges and could have easily led him down a deep dark path in life. However, the grace of God through Christ gave him a firm foundation from a young age. He never expected to be called into ministry, but God had different plans for him. He has served in roles such as Student Pastor, Evangelism and Outreach Director, Men's Discipleship Pastor, Associate Pastor and Adult Discipleship. He has also served as an independent evangelist with his own outreach ministry and the opportunity to share the gospel through speaking in churches and events. His deepest passion is to encourage believers to get rooted in their faith by understanding Biblical instruction for the believers. Author was never on his list of things to do, yet he felt that God was leading him to put his past studies and messages into a format that could reach a larger number of people, and so, Rooted: The Unshakeable Christian was born.
