Synopsis "Rubenstein's Augur"
A mathematics professor specializing in CHOAS theory has found a way to predict the movement of the U.S. stock market. A stockbroker-turned-money manager employs the technique to manage millions of dollars for an America-based trust fund. The trust fund-with holdings now in the billions of dollars-was established in the 19th Century by Tsar Alexander II of Russia. The Russians had forgotten the trust, but now want the money. A Moscow mafya family learns of the technique and wants to steal it. Conflict among the Russians, the mafya, and the stockbroker arises. No everyone involved survives the decision.
