Synopsis "Running With Wolves"

Johnny Cryingbear is a teenager living on the San Carlos Reservation. Life is hard there and most teenagers fall into the negative statistics that is prevalent on the reservation. So one day he receives an electric guitar for his birthday and it changes his life. He decides to start a band. With help from his friend Swanee they are able to recruit some band members. The obstacle the band faces is gaining acceptance by the community which is deeply rooted in their culture. Johnny is introduced to garage rock from the sixties and is immediately inspired. Unfortunately for the band, life throws a curve ball and their dreams fall through. Johnny refuses to be a statistic like many others that have fallen into alcoholism and drug abuse. In spite of heart break and disappointments Johnny trudges on because of his passion for music to disprove the statistics.
