The Sullivan family is invited to come stay at the sheriff's ranch for a weekend. That's all Savannah has talked about for weeks. She can't wait to ride a horse. Savannah's dad has been hired to help turn the ranch into a dude ranch. He's invited to come out and look around early to work on the plans. Savannah's dad invites her to come along. The sheriff is breaking a horse when they arrive. The horse is huge, rears up on it's hind legs, and tries to kick the cowboys when trying to put a saddle on him. Savannah's having second thoughts on how much fun it would be to ride a horse. She is now terrified of them! What will she do when she has to go for a whole weekend? She's got to think of something. Even laid up sick in bed would be better than thrown from a wild horse - which she thinks is a real possibility after seeing these horses. The Sullivan Family Series is a series of books. The Sullivan's have three children: Savannah, the main character, along with her older brother Liam, and her younger sister Sierra. You will follow the lives of the Sullivans throughout the series.
