Synopsis "Seize the Moment: Student Version"
Fear is one of the strongest weapons of the enemy. It puts you in a position of sympathy and takes away your joy. When you lose your joy, you have lost your strength to act. We must replace our fears with faith and preparation since they are the antidotes to fear. Your dreams and goals may seem completely beyond what you can do now, but if you continue to work hard to achieve them, and keep in mind the vision of all that God has to offer you, you are sure to share in the promise because your faith is always built on the Word of God. Fear comes naturally to us but faith comes by receiving the Word of God. God has promised our safety from evil. Fear will automatically come but our preparations will fight and defeat it. "BUT NOW thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.16When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee" (Isaiah 43:1-2). You can't allow the fear of negative consequences keep you from taking risks. Allowing negative experiences of the past to warp your future is like living in a coffin. It puts a lid on you and can end your life. I would challenge anyone who has never suffered a setback, felt disappointed or been the recipient of bad news to take up a more challenging task. Always look at your losses as opportunities for growth through learning, and then you will become undefeatable. It is not the end when you realize that you have made a mistake. In fact, it could be the beginning of a new stage of your life. Life will always be fraught with losses, but if we are properly armed, the urge to give up as a result of losses will not overcome us. Dreams are only dreams until you wake up and make them real. You must face all the challenges that come your way and make an effort not to become discouraged. Determination has its rewards. Fear is one of the greatest enemies to potential. You will always require boldness to realize your dreams. Fear is also the faith that something cannot work. There will always be those times when it seems like you will never be able to achieve what you are striving for, but don't give up. You can trust the Lord to grant you courage when you most need it."Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest" (Joshua 1:9). Whatever you are afraid of will always dominate your life. Fear and faith are spirits; whichever of them you allow will control your life. God commanded Joshua to be strong and of a good courage and not to be afraid of anyone or anything. He would've given up had God not encouraged him. No one reaches the top without daring the impossible. No risk is too great to prevent the necessary job from getting done. You don't concentrate on the risks; you concentrate on the results. Opportunity will only favor the bold. Be not afraid; that was the word of the Lord to Joshua. Seizing the opportunity will require your boldness and understand that no challenge is stronger than you. God will not allow you to face any challenge that is above you. The only challenge which is greater than you is your fear. No examination is greater than you in any way and my word of encouragement is that do not be afraid. People have excelled before and so can you. If someone has done it before, then it is possible. Everything in the eyes of the bold is possible. The greatest mistake one can ever make is constantly being afraid of making one.
