Synopsis "Shadow Profiteer"

In the sleep village of Somnolence, evil begins to awaken. After an excavation of an ancient battle site, Manceologist Morgan Rechls has made the discovery of a lifetime - he has found the missing codex of the Aphotic. Except things don't go quite as one might hope. Others have learned of his impressive discovery, and seek to benefite from what the codex can provide. When Rechls returns to his home in Somnolence, the codex thrums to life after centuries of dormancy. In doing so it calls forth something - evil. Somnolence is about to face an invasion beyond their very comprehensions. It just so happens that one group of adventurers is present just as the mists of fate role in. They are all that stands between the Aphotic and their ability to plunge the very nation into war. This is an adventure path for the 5th edition of the world's greatest roleplaying game.
