Synopsis "Shadows Across the Sand"
From a broken home on the wrong side of the tracks in wealthy Palm Springs, California, eighteen-year-old Nadine Forbes struggles at her waitressing job at the Spring's coffee shop to put herself through college; her goal - to rise above the poverty of her upbringing and become a successful business woman.Twenty-eight-year-old Roger Lewis, the divorced owner of the coffee shop where Nadine works, is captivated by the lovely and determined Nadine, but also frustrated by her rejection of him. Finally, the wealthy entrepreneurial Roger, from an old money family in Los Angeles, asks Nadine to marry him. For Nadine it seems like a dream come true, until she uncovers the disturbing and tormenting secret that Roger's family harbors, and as she gradually begins to unravel the mystery she becomes caught up in a desperate bid to save her husband's life.
