The study empirically tests the validity of the Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory of Motivation with the moderating effect of Shari'ah perception in the context of insurance industry. The findings reveal that both insurance and Takāful managers and business leaders need to recommend and devise the policies carefully by maintaining the balance between Motivators and Hygiene factors.
