Synopsis "Sidekick"
When best friends Katie Kendrick and Priya Patil went on a highschool fieldtrip to the nearby chemical plant, a terrifying accident left them with superhuman powers. Naming themselves Ultra Woman and Disappearing Girl (respectively), they teamed up to keep the streets of Seattle free of crime, all in the name of justice! Now, well into their twenties and living together as roommates, Priya begins to realize that being a sidekick is actually pretty demeaning. Katie's inflated ego and toxic living habits have begun to make Priya rethink her role, especially when Katie's amorous conquests leave Priya picking up the pieces of young men's broken hearts - not to mention remnants of their ripped clothing. When a well-known crime kingpin moves his operations into Seattle, he brings with him his arch nemesis, the super hero Black Shadow. The skeletons in his closet open a whole new can of worms, putting the heroes, oftentimes, at cross purposes. As Priya's fuse shortens, she wonders if it's time to retire to civilian life and keep her only power - invisibility - a secret. Join our heroes as they defeat their new enemy, all while trying to retain some semblance of sanity in SIDEKICK!
