Synopsis "Street Beat"
Street Beat is the title story of this young adult fiction. Two inseparable teenagers, Kpana and Lorpu, soon find that life has a way of placing minefields. They now have to navigate the dangerous schemes of boys, overprotective parents, the battlefield of high school, and the confusion of young adulthood. In all of this, their relationship must stand the barrages of attacks. There is also Guy, the hottest boy in school. He is digging one of the girls, but this interest of his is bound to cause more trouble. Will they survive or succumb to the pressure? As they struggle with this, Evie, Kpana's little sister, goes missing. Someone close is involved. As the community races against time to save Evie, the girls must find ways to save the friendship before they can save the sister.Run, is about two teen girls, Ciah and Kumba, who were once best friends. Over time, something happens that is compounded by a boy, Tamba. He loves the one girl who doesn't need his trouble while the one who is drooling over him, he has no interest. Now, Ciah must run away from Kumba who is determined to beat her. Why the sudden shift?
