Synopsis "Sweetness of Sin"

Sweetness of Sin is a modern day retelling of the story of creation set in the mystical, historically rich, musically inspired, and culturally spiritual city of New Orleans. This contemporary adaptation infuses the the well-known biblical story of Adam and Eve with the chilling legends of Jewish Folklore and the lesser known story of Adam's first love, Lilith. This story begins with a Jewish man named Adam who is living in New Orleans with a woman named Lilith. They both enjoy practicing magic. Adam enjoys jazz music more than the magic which ultimately leads to the end of his relationship with Lilith. Shortly after their breakup, Adam pursues a more grounded lifestyle when he meets Eve at High Holiday services. Meanwhile, Lilith has taken company with a sordid masochist named Sammy who rules caverns filled with demons that dwell beneath the sunken city. Sammy and Lilith use their magic to manipulate the lives of the demons in their realm as well as the people they know in the city above.
