The story is set in 2002 when lots of aspects of then were a lot different to today's.There are a lot of different cultures on display with main characters from Nigeria and Jamaica and of course Britain. Also the story grips on different denominations of Christianity such as Protestantism and Catholicism.The story grips with pressing issues such as having sex or "beat" at under sixteen and doing drugs such as marijuana or "weed".
