His bubble floats out the window, where along the way he encounters a squirrel explaining to him that he is lost and trying to find his way home. The Squirrel, scared of his own shadow sees a discarded pumpkin shell quickly decides this will be his armor against the world and climbs in declaring himself, "Paulie Pumpkin". And yes, he will help Charlie find his way home. Soon they come upon an old discarded, unwanted teddy bear who is old and seemingly been discarded by his family because he Hic-cups all the time. He loves and is tickled that Charlie can blow bubbles so happily joins this band of merry misfits to return Charlie to his home. Together, overcoming their fears, learning about friendship even though they come from very diverse set of circumstances work together and learn that You can't judge a bee by its buzz.'
