Synopsis "The Adventures of Inner-City Kitty: Kitty Is Adopted"
On September 1st, one year ago, Mr. and Mrs. Lee adopted Miguel, 7, Erin, 6, and Carly, 5, from the Children's Home in the inner city.Mr. and Mrs. Lee love their children very much. Now, the kids are asking their parents to let THEM adopt someone to love, too. So, because September 1st is such an important day, Mr. and Mrs. Lee say that Miguel, Erin, and Carly can go to the City Animal Shelter and adopt a cat.When the children get to the shelter, they see a calico tabby named Kitty who is white, black, and brown-THE SAME COLORS AS THE THREE KIDS! Mr. Rosen, the kind man who works at the shelter, tells them that Kitty hopes to be adopted by a family who will love her. He says that she's a very special little cat who was born in the inner city, and she learned BIG lessons during her time there that she wants to share with kids just like them.So begins The Adventures of Inner-City Kitty . . . she is pretty, she's wise and witty-and she's a MAGIC cat that you'll never forget!
