Synopsis "The Apple Doesn't Fall Too Far In Maple Brook"

Kawan lives in Maple Brook Apartments with his mother Dedra and four siblings: Aaron, Ike, Chase and Aleka. Kawan's mother looks to him to be the man of the house even though he is only a kid. Kawan's cousin Byrd nurtures Kawan's already adventurous spirit, allowing Kawan to be a young boy even though he is expected to cope with the realities of his mother's current and past struggles. Maple Brook is the one true fantasy and playground that Kawan knows. Then things take a turn for the worse when Byrd goes missing, and Kawan and his family move from Maple Brook to start a new life. Although Kawan makes friends in his new neighborhood, he can't stop thinking about what happened to Byrd. Things get interesting when Kawan moves to the Mannor apartment complex and meets Nico, who looks just like Byrd.
