Synopsis "The applicability of restorative justice mechanisms"
Considering that the number of crimes is gradually increasing in Brazil, and the application of the penalty, in the Retributive Justice system, does not achieve the real objective of the penalty, there is the following problem for the research: What is the applicability of the mechanisms of Restorative Justice in the socio-educational measures of the adolescent offender in the Caxias da Paz programme, from the year 2014? Thus, the research, as a theme the socio-educational measures and Restorative Justice and as its delimitation the perspective of Restorative Justice in the applicability of socio-educational measures to the adolescent offender in the Caxias da Paz programme from 2014, aiming to present Restorative Justice in contrast to Retributive Justice and the perspectives of both on the applicability of socio-educational measures, from the Municipal Restorative Pacification Programme in Caxias do Sul, called Caxias da Paz. To this end, the inductive approach method and monographic procedure method are adopted. As for the research technique, direct and indirect forms are adopted, through bibliographic research and field research.
