Since leaving his publishers, John had started to self-publish his work. What once started as a bit of an industry joke had suddenly become a viable means of getting your work "out there". The problem was, by leaving his publisher and all they offered, his work had taken a down-turn. The covers were shoddy, the work wasn't as thoroughly edited as it used to be and people were starting to notice. His ex-publishers had noticed. With the company profits suffering, since losing John as one of their authors, Craig had been sent to John's house in the hopes of enticing him back. But, when he gets there, he realises not all is as it seems...
