"Amidst the smoke and blood of battle, shall the banner once again rise." As the harshness of winter draws ever closer, the king is once more in need of a quick victory. After snatching victory from the jaws of defeat at Market Barton, the king pursues the Duke of Baleford who has retreated back north where he plans on raising another army. The castle of Heath Hollow now stands in the way of the king, a castle allied with Baleford that must be taken if the king is to win the war.The Order of the Star has long battled against the Darkness and safeguarded their treasures, vowing to remain neutral in times of war. But when an ancient relic is stolen from their vaults in Elnaria, they are forced to choose between breaking their holy vow, or risk losing their relic forever. After the battle of Market Barton, Henri Richards now finds himself popular with the common men. But to the king and nobles alike, he is nothing more than an embarrassment that constantly undermines their authority. With his frustrations growing at the sight of his former home, Henri's actions forces the king to take drastic action against him and he finds himself in a position he never imagined he'd be in.
