Synopsis "The Best I Remember - A Cruel British Tragedy"
Thomas Isherwood is a Child Migrant who was born on December 23, 1938 in Birmingham, England. With the start of the Second World War in 1939, a consequential chain of events placed Tom as an 8-year-old boy on a rugged journey throughout life. For Tom, the majority of his baby years were spent in orphanages or emigration homes in England that dealt with the trafficking of children. Tom does not remember his mother or father, and one document even suggested, "The boy forget about his entire past in England." Everything appeared fine until his mind began to wonder, leaving an unsteady feeling within, telling him that something was not quite right. "The Best I Remember" tells of Tom's struggle as a young boy to survive all alone in a foreign land, even after, surviving the war and all that came with it.
