Synopsis "The Buwayb Conspiracy"

BUWAYB CONSPIRACY is a first person account of a conspiracy to win a huge, vastly lucrative contract for the construction of a refinery in Saudi Arabia; a conspiracy that in its wake lead to several murders in an effort to preserve its secrecy. Its compelling plot includes powerful love interests and a number of surprising and unexpected twists and turns right up to the very last page. Action starts in Saudi Arabia and moves rapidly back and forth between Saudi, the United Kingdom and the United States, then to Switzerland and South Africa, and finally back to the United Kingdom where the ultimate scenes are played out. Max Joubert and Gordon Oldman, employed by a UK-based international construction company are roped in by the chairman and his deputy to assist in a conspiracy to buy the contract for the construction of the oil refinery; Max Joubert in particular to corrupt Chris, afriend in the Ministry of Eenergy, and coerce him into helping them bribe the Head of the Ministry to award the contract to the company. Craving vengeance but unable to build up a convincing case that would stand up in a court of law, he fled to South Africa where he conceived a plan to hunt the guilty one down personally, crucially without sacrificing his own freedom. On his return to the United Kingdom, he carefully and meticulously began to put his plan into practice. However, when the hired assassin once again tracked him down despite all the precautions he took, and killed the woman he loved in a particularly brutal way, his mind snapped and ....
