By the bruise to the Servant, we are healed. The Servant will see his offspring and prolong his days once he pours out his soul to death and carries the sins of us all. After the anguish of his soul, he sees the light and is satisfied. By his knowledge, he makes many right before the LORD. This book shares 83 English translations of this passage. Some have differences in just several words and other translations have many differences. Jesus is the Man of Sorrows and was acquainted with grief. Jesus is the suffering Servant and carried our sins and guilt with him at the crucifixion. He was resurrected and lives to see his spiritual offspring whom he makes righteous before the LORD. This is the central tenet of Christianity and surely writers of the New Testament referred to it in their minds as they wrote about Jesus' purpose. This passage should be referenced as the source of Jesus's salvation of our soul. This book also has 34 questions to help guide a bible study for yourself or a group of people about this passage.
