Synopsis "The Cezanne Conspiracy"
A 20th Century painter living in Provence, France, finds himself ensnared in a plot to undermine the world's most prominent art museums. The ghosts of Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin and Ernest Hemingway come to the aid of this American abstract artist, who reluctantly, has found himself trapped in a maelstrom of deceit and danger. He enlists a prominent art restoration specialist from Georgetown University to help him solve the mystery of what is counterfeit and what is real. The French secret service is caught up in this worldwide plot. The intention of the conspirators' is to undermine the Louvre Museum, The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and major art museums throughout the world. Several unsavory characters from France and Russia play a key role in the plot. Monet's Gardens are defiled. Sex undermines investigations. Murders take place in beautiful French villages. Corruption abounds. Mysteries proliferate. Until the reader finishes the final pages, he or she, might not be able to determine what is authentic. Or, maybe not!
