Synopsis "The Choice of Life"

The ancients died as they lived, filled with greed and violence. The earth could bear them no longer and life was swept away. And then Zanur came. With the passage of the millennia green has returned to the world to be enjoyed by Carlos and his sister Judith in their high mountain home. Then Carlos' gentle world is turned upside down when Judith is taken into the temple and never returns. As Carlos confronts his God in an attempt to bring his sister home, he discovers his extraordinary abilities and begins his quest to bring a greater justice to his world. Carlos, his father and friends must travel from the high vales to the deep places of the earth, uncovering the history of their people and their God, as they battle towards their goal. In his journey Carlos uncovers his and Judith's important roles, and in the final confrontation with the temple and his strange God he finds they must determine the path for their people. They must make the choice of life.
