Synopsis "The Color Blue of the Hermits Robe"
Jim, Dossie, and their son Hector are adventurous hermits living in travel trailers, exploring parks across the country. Content, they educate Hector at libraries while surviving through hunting and fishing. But time changes all things. Dossie changes. She buys a house and makes them leave the road. They try to stay but are yearning to travel again. Dossie's sudden change confuses Jim and Hector. They become fearful of her ways. Loyalty ends when she sets a trap, leading to potential imprisonment in prison after they refuse to stay home all the time. Filled with fear, they know they will die if confined. They must part ways and embark on new roads. This poignant story of a parting is a tribute to appreciating life's call to destinies.
