Synopsis "The Dark Energy Chronicles: The Grand Cull: The Third Book"
The Dark Energy Chronicles relate parts of the story of the conflict between elves and orbs - humans. The elves have sought to gain dominance in the conflict between elf and orb that has raged for millions of years. All humans on Earth are descendants of the orbs, but as inhabitants of a remote outpost in the multiverse, have lost memory of the primordial battle. The elves have started their Grand Cull to harvest the human population of Earth and have unleashed sinister creatures, hydra, to subdue and herd their prey. Alec and Erin are torn between two worlds - Alec's homeland, Earth, and Erin's land, Theland on the planet Nevia, that he has come to love. Erin's children and her people are in peril, but before they can return to Nevia they must face the elves' Grand Cull to save Alec's daughter. After returning to Nevia, they find the elves engaged in an ancient civil war that threatens to destroy all that Erin cherishes - unless she can lead her former enemies to save her people.
