Synopsis "The Doves of Castle Dunbrair"
For centuries, mourning doves nesting in the forest surrounding Castle Dunbrair have protected the inhabitants of the castle and the bearer of a powerful silver ring. Michael of Dunbrair, a 12th-century Scottish knight wears the magical ring on a silver chain under his tunic. When he is summoned to join King Richard's army at Château Gaillard he falls in love with Catharine, the queen's adopted daughter. Catharine realises that she loves him too but all they had were fleeting moments during dangerous secret meetings, because by order of the king she is unwillingly betrothed to another. When Richard is wounded, their least likely ally intervenes. The year is 1967. Catharine Saunders struggles to deal with the brutal deaths of her parents. Her soul mate Michael, had always been there to love and protect her, but has somehow disappeared. Left to cope alone Catharine builds a new life and makes new friends, but she is haunted by unexplainable déjà vu and visions of Michael, castles, and knights, while the ever-present doves follow her everywhere. Is she going mad? Or are these strange happenings surfacing memories of a past life?
