Synopsis "The Eldridge Incident"
1944, the height of World War II. Powerful Navies have the fought the globes vast oceans to a near stalemate. In an effort to tip the scales a navy destroyer, the Eldridge, is quietly dispatched to the South Pacific on a field mission to test its experimental cargo, a new innovation in camouflaging technology known only as 'the device.' After a number of successful engagements, all radio contact with the Eldridge is inexplicably lost. The ship, with its captain, its crew, and its compliment of German scientists, has simply vanished. Navy brass are frantic.Then, one rainy morning near a Philadelphia shipyard, clairvoyant Simon Bouchard is struck by a sudden and terrifying vision: two sailors, their uniforms singed and their flesh twisted and burned, seem to beckon and call out for his aid.
