Synopsis "The Glittering Jewels"
The Glittering Jewels is a story revolving around Sophia's trip to Mauritius and the adventure she has searching for her grandfather's lost treasure. Sophia's grandmother invites her to spend her fourteenth birthday in Mauritius. Excitement to be spending her birthday on such a beautiful island grows when she realises that her grandmother owns three dogs - especially since she has always a dog of her own. Unfortunately, she's been having trouble saving enough money for one. When Sophia discovers that the seemingly innocent rock in the ocean is actually a pirate ship, she and her new friend, Antonio, decide to go and explore it. While aboard they meet a group of pirate ghosts! The pirates, knowing the story of her grandparents' missing fortune convince them to search for it. Using the few clues left behind by her grandfather, all of them find themselves on a treasure hunt. They encounter a number of obstacles on their way to their final destination testing Sophia's bravery and resilience to solve the mystery.
