Doctor Antrobus has returned to the UK after spending twenty years in an academic post in Australia. But his past catches up with him when he meets Samantha who confronts him over the question of a curse. 3. The Street of Cloaks. Nick Bryant a multimillionaire property developer starts to build a monstrosity of a modern house on top of Roman remains. Some of the local people, including his own daughter, have strange visions of an ancient sacrificial ceremony. 4. Alkimos. The author tells the story of his own experiences of being stalked by a ghost from the shipwreck of The Alkimos on a visit to his daughter in Australia.
