Speaking from a biblical viewpoint, there are two kinds of people in the world, the righteous and the sinner. There are two ways to live, the life of holiness and the life of the wicked. There are two eternal destinations, heaven or hell. Also, according to the Bible, we have the power to choose what kind of people we are, the kind of life we live and our eternal destination. We can choose whether we want to meet God at the end of this life or if we want to spend eternity separated from God in hell. The Bible also makes another point very clear to us. If we choose that we want to meet God and spend eternity in heaven with him, we have to choose to follow him in this life. He has shown us the way he wants us to live. Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, came into this world to show us the way that we might meet God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh to the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
