Synopsis "The House in Scotland"

In the house in Scotland, the Laurels, Augusta and Andrew fell in love, but it is September 1939 when WW11 begins. Soon the country is thrown into chaos, the major cities in England are bombed, the shipyards on the Clyde are attacked. Andrew becomes a pilot, and Augusta is left alone again, expecting his baby. Andrew is missing in a night flight, Augusta marries Eddie, a friend. When Andrew is released from prisoner of war camp, he returns to Augusta, but she does not tell him of his baby girl, before they make love in the Laurels. Augusta is widowed when she meets Andrew again, he is now a barrister, he wants to marry her. But she fears losing her daughters if she reveals that Eddie was not their biological father. Augusta and Andrew's love was never stronger. The war has torn many families apart, and Augusta waits, for a time which may not come, when Andrew's daughters would know the truth about their own family, which was also torn apart by the war.
