Synopsis "The Johannine priestly model: A priestly model for our time"

In volume 34 of the work of the Italian mystic Luisa Picarretta, on December 28, 1936, we discover with wonder that the Virgin Mary offers her maternity to women in the Divine Will, so that they may become mothers to her Son and love Him as much as she loved Him, wanting to form many mothers to her Jesus, to make Him safe and so that no one offends Him any more. This unexpected access to both her divine and spiritual motherhood allows us to realize that the special priestly model of the Apostle John was probably intended to enable the women of our time to exercise the ministry of the spiritual motherhood of the Virgin Mary within the Church. In the light of the Gospel, this book reveals the double function of this ministry and what this priestly model consists of, namely its institution, its orientations and the particular modalities to be adopted by those who are destined to it. It also makes it possible to establish that the words Woman, this is your son and This is your mother could allow the reiteration of this priestly model; this in virtue of the power to bind and to loose that the bishops receive at their episcopal ordination. Thus, thanks to the access to the motherhood of our heavenly mother's maternity, women could have the possibility of exercising the pastoral ministry of her spiritual motherhood in connection with their son-priest within families, in order to make them domestic Churches within the Divine Fiat.
