Synopsis "The Journey"
Trevon is a fifty-year-old African-American man living in Atlanta. Moving there from Washington, DC, after getting laid off, he now finds himself unemployed, separated from his social circle, and inches away from homelessness. Yet deep inside, he feels a stirring that something special is on the horizon. Noah is another African-American man in his forties who turned his life around after a hard battle with drugs. But after his ten-year marriage ends in divorce, he moves to South Carolina from Cleveland in search of a new life-and finds great success putting his smooth-talking personality into action. Trevon and Noah are old friends, but they haven't seen each other in over ten years. As the tides shift in both of their lives, they find themselves reconnecting and embarking on a deep spiritual journey together through unforeseen adversity. Through this profound experience, they meet the spirit of God, who encourages and enlightens them-opening their eyes to the nature of faith in action.
