Synopsis "The Kingdom Of Nubia"
King Taharqa of Nubia conquered Egypt during the time of the Twenty-Fifth Dynasty, forever changing the Hierarchy of Power in the Ancient World. When the ruthless Ashurbanipal, Ruler of Assyrian Empire, came to the Lands of the Nile, he allied himself with the Egyptians and sought to bring down the Nubian Kingdom. In time, Nubia was weakened but the Assyrians could not destroy her. Ashurbanipal installed Pharoah Psamtik I as Ruler of Egypt and left. King Atlanersa of Nubia, Taharqa's successor, and his Queen, the beautiful and ambitious Khaliset, want to make Nubia great again. As the Assyrian Empire weakens, Psamtik I seeks to free Egypt from their dominion but still views the Nubians as his enemies.
